Bob Hoye has been in investment business for some 50 years, making him one of the more experienced researchers. His historical work has been thorough providing the first recognition of the fascinating transition from speculation in commodities to speculation in financial assets. Bob Hoye is a fountain of market wisdom. His keen insight into the fact that the Fed actually FOLLOWS the market rate of interest rather than SETS interest rates – as 95% of market participants believe, is most profound. Because of Bob, I watch the 3 month US T-bill yield daily, watching its trend to know precisely where we are in the business cycle (still late stage boom). Thanks, Bob.
