Jim, Mark has said many times on your show that he sees a correlation with the position of the earth in its orbit around the sun and the stock market.
More precisely, he has said in so many words that intermediate term highs and lows in the general stock markets tend to occur in close temporal proximity to the spring and fall equinox, and the summer and winter solstice. This idea seems absurd on its face, but the correlation does seem to exist on the charts. Can Mark venture a guess as to why this might be?
