April 29, 2022 | Is Recession Just Around the Corner?

Bob Hoye has been in investment business for some 50 years, making him one of the more experienced researchers. His historical work has been thorough providing the first recognition of the fascinating transition from speculation in commodities to speculation in financial assets. It was controversial when Bob observed that “No matter how much the Fed prints, stocks will outperform commodities”. They did and the stock market followed. The latest was the call in early October for the Bitcoin Bubble to complete in December. Bob’s essays and speeches on political change and on actual climate change have been widely circulated.

    Hey Bob:

You believe were at the end of a debt driven financial bubble. So, does that mean we should expect to see a large reduction in the amount of outstanding debt across the economy?? Are there any economic figures that monitor this debt, and is there any way to gauge when total debt has gone down enough to signal the end of such a bust cycle??

Secondly, if you were in charge of the Fed and FMOC, what would you do over the short and long term to ensure prosperity given current conditions?? Does honest money require a gold standard??
