ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR INVESTMENT PROFESSIONAL BEFORE MAKING ANY INVESTMENT DECISION

August 6, 2025 | Having Skills vs. a College Degree

Robert Campbell

Robert Campbell is a real estate analyst and economist. He's been publishing The Campbell Real Estate Timing Letter since 2002. His book (Timing the Real Estate Market) presents a clearly defined method for predicting the peaks and valleys of real estate cycles.

One of my gym homies is a young man that is going to college to get a degree in Real Estate Development.

“No college professors are going to teach you how to be successful in that business,” I told him.

Instead, I advised him to quit college and go work for an experienced real estate developer.

And if you have to pick between a developer that will pay you the best salary vs. a developer that will be the best mentor, choose the best mentor every time.

True regarding real estate. Though would never work out @ gym anymore since they are all are lite by blue light and have flicker. Might be good for your muscles but not good for your brain. Blue light changes oxygen making you hypoxic when working out in blue light gyms. Donivan Baily was on to something when he worked out on a volcano in his underwear to get energy from natural sunlight and magnetism from the earth.
