We had 1000 tons of gold in the 60’s, Trudeau sold 400, Mulroney about 500 and change (but I believe that was doing his part to keep gold and oil prices low to beat Russians in the cold war) Chretien/Martin sold off most of the rest, Harper sold all but the last few ounces and JT sold the last few ounces.
It’s always good hearing from Ed. I’ve been following Ed for about 12 years now and he never disappoints. Thanks for the interview ‘This Week in Money’. It looks as though the silver and gold markets aren’t the only markets that are heavily managed (i.e., rigged) as did we all see what the LME did in the nickel market last week? Wow! Someday these crooks and their schemes will be crushed and brought to justice. At least that’s what I keep telling myself.
