Our Smart Phones are a type of ‘virtual reality’ which uses ‘artificial intelligence for our experience

Most of science has adopted this philosophy called Materialism. This philosophy is mostly based upon the law of physics which is also the core philosophy for chemistry and biology. The particles of materialism are what science has studied and which is foundational to their Worldview.

The concept of what ‘exists’ is based upon Materialism. The concept of a ‘thing’ is based upon the philosophy of Materialism. Physics is based upon that which ‘exists’ and that which can be identified as a ‘thing’. All particles of matter are viewed as made up of ‘things’. All of chemistry and biology are based upon that which ‘exists’ and that which can be reduced to a ‘thing’.

But economics and finance have now transcended this philosophy with their ‘virtual’ currencies. Virtual currencies are derived from the human ‘mind’. The human ‘mind’ is not a ‘thing’. The contents of the human ‘mind’ transcend that which ‘exists’. Consciousness is not a ‘thing’ and it does not ‘exist’. So the philosophy of Materialism is not relevant when discussing ‘consciousness’ IMO. The human ‘mind’ derives from my/your ‘consciousness’ (a reality which does not exist).

All our ‘virtual’ currencies derive from the human ‘mind’. A dollar is a mental unit. A euro is a mental unit. A pound is a mental unit, etc. These ‘virtual’ units derive from my/your ‘consciousness’ (also called the human ‘mind’). Names, symbols, and numbers are all ‘mental’ units derived from consciousness. We live (today) with virtual currencies which can not exist within this philosophy called Materialism.

The Laws of Physics would not apply to these ‘virtual’ currencies. Historically, we lived with money that was material. Gold and silver were material elements. Paper notes and metal coins were material items. But today our authorities are eliminating all matter items from our money system. Virtual currencies (called money) are now in vogue and growing in popularity. Our Central Banks can create these ‘virtual’ currencies in the trillions (with no limitations)…from their inner self (consciousness). Amazing!

The new philosophy for today should be called Dualism. Dualism is based on the idea that we live within TWO realms…the material and the mental. Both interact and function (simultaneously) to provide for our survival and for valuation of our goods and services. Economics and finance needs Dualism to explain their concepts. Value is a ‘virtual’ concept. The dollar, euro, pound, yen, krona, etc. are ‘virtual’ currencies. Our money is now a ‘virtual’ concept of our MIND.

This means that our dollar, euro, pound, etc. are not a ‘thing’. This unit of consciousness (called our currency unit) does not technically ‘exist’. It derives from the human mind which is part of our ‘consciousness’. We all live (today) in TWO realms (mostly unknowingly). The TWO realms could also be called ‘the inner’ and ‘the outer’. Our observational reality is ‘outer’ and part of our Materialistic realm. Our inner reality is invisible and part of our Mental realm.

We need a NEW PHILOSOPHY for today’s marketplace. Materialism is dead as it does not describe reality correctly. Dualism is alive as it describes what is happening within finance, economics, and politics. Those with wisdom will recognize these realities. Think of our ‘dollar’ as a ‘non-thing’. Think of our dollar as ‘not existing’. All is ‘virtual’. We live and survive within TWO realms of reality. Dualism is my philosophy and it could become everyone’s.
