Ross indicated it was good old boys or was it time to put the boots to the Chinese may a little of both ? It was the Chinese version of USO that was caught with big longs in the squeeze ( it should have rolled over to new contract on Friday ) and only physical traders ( people who are going to take delivery ) should be in the market on Monday but not sure the detail some how through the Bank of China they had the physical trader designation too but clearly a financial players. The negative price on Monday was not.real price of crude but that of storage or the cost of diverting crude to or from Cushing OK. on few hour notices and sure with a good profit too. A number of smaller player where also caught trading system where never set up for negative prices.
