Not government-subsidized? Is the cost of production of these solar panels government-subsidized? Yes.
Does governmental board set the rates for utilities that customers pay to have electricity? Yes.
For Solar electricity generation to be profitable can only mean, the electric company billing Southern Alberta has been allowed to increase customer rates without mercy. Instead of fixing that problem, by re-investing in new equipment, the regulators have said, pile on boys!
Future utility rate hikes are going to happen in Southern Alberta. Deal with it.
