I was on the old Kitco Forum in the 1990s when the great pundit, ANOTHER (Thoughts) who said: “In the end gold and the dollar will rise together”. This very much seems to be happening now. The world is fleeing to what they consider safe havens. The dollar is still considered to be that, and now gold (and silver) is too – but only as a US dollar play. The move to physical buying (seen in the COMEX at present) is a later stage. When the world gets to that point, gold will be both almost unobtainable and price less.
