Just FYI, what is causing this deflationary trends is that the baby boomer generation are retiring at 10,000 per day for next 15 years and the younger, smaller, and poorer generation CANNOT offset this long term trend by spending more money. Younger people are not entering into the workforce at this rate and are Not creating 10,000 new jobs in this country per day to just break even. So this fact alone shows what is causing the deflation. Only food and healthcare costs will rise, everything else will fall down over time. The FED should just keep their hands off the economy, we should have a severe deflation which is good for the younger generations can afford things again and maybe be able to buy a house in the future. The older generations do not like deflation since they own 70% of total assets in this economy. This the tug of war that is happening now. So this is what is causing the deflation..
