Adrian Mastracci, Discretionary Portfolio Manager, B.E.E., MBA. My expertise in the investment and financial advisory profession began in 1972. I graduated with the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from General Motors Institute in 1971. I then attended the University of British Columbia, graduating with the MBA in 1972. I have attained the “Discretionary Portfolio Manager” professional designation. I am committed to offering clients the highest standard of personal service by providing prompt, courteous and professional attention. My advice is objective, unbiased and without conflicts of interest. I’m part of a team that delivers comprehensive services and best value in managing client wealth.

I’ve noticed more retirement planning inquiries during 2016 than in past years.
Some of the reasons stem from continued low returns and fears about outliving the money.

I expect that most of the new planning will be done from now to March 2017.
The RRSP season, quickly followed by the TFSA season, will be high priorities.

I’ve done some planning surrounding my periodic commentaries.
I propose to issue specific ones keeping in mind the big picture of retirement.

I thought I would highlight some of the upcoming topics of interest.
Perhaps, they may assist in your work load.

Here are some important ideas for 2017:

Accumulating retirement capital
Revisiting asset location strategy
7-point portfolio checkup 2017
RRSP primer 2017
TFSA primer 2017
RRIF primer 2017

All have been drafted.
Most are close to finished.

Let me know If you wish to early peruse any that may fit your assignments.
As an aside, the RRSP turns 60 in 2017 – a young boomer at last.

Feedback is welcomed.

Regards,

Adrian
