God bless you, Jim. Allergies? Perhaps a kill switch on your mic.

Mish probably has it correct about Trump but I disagree about Florida and Bush in the 2000 election. Except for time out of state while in the Navy, I have lived here for over 50 years and know a little bit about the state. The hanging chad controversy was centered in Palm Beach county and was started by Democrat activists. During the recount the election judges gave every questionable ballot card to Gore that they could get away with. EVERY serious study of the Florida vote agrees that Bush won the state.

As far as the US wanting or not wanting to go to war I guess it depends on which century and which President you are talking about. In the 18th and 19th centuries we didn’t care much what the Europeans did. In the 20th century we joined the British Empire and its’ allies twice. We were a little later than you but, being a part of the Empire, you had to go when the King called. Mish is right about us sticking our nose in places it perhaps should not be during the last 50 or so years but that is what empires do isn’t it.

I really like your show and your guests; even the few who are wrong. You do a great job getting out information generally not available in the mainstream financial media. Best of luck putting out the fire.
